the Sun Shines Calmly
Copenhagen
コペンハーゲンの街はおだやかだ。南の国の陽気で開放的な雰囲気とはまた違い、静かな独特のゆるやかさに惹かれ、2019年からコペンハーゲンを拠点に暮らし始めた。
日々の移動はもっぱら自転車。風を切りながら、街のおだやかな空気を肌で感じられるのが心地よい。街は平坦で、自転車で20分も走れば横断できるくらいコンパクトなのも魅力のひとつだ。自転車道もよく整備されていて、特に朝のラッシュアワーには、通勤通学の自転車はもちろん、子供や犬を乗せたカーゴバイクもよく目にする。
からりと晴れたある夏の日、水辺の風を感じながら、お気に入りの場所を友人と自転車で巡った。
The city of Copenhagen has a mild temperament. The atmosphere also differs from the sunny, liberating one of southern countries. Drawn by its quiet, distinctively slow-paced life, I began to base my activities and live in Copenhagen in 2019.
I make everyday trips around town exclusively by bicycle. It puts me in a good mood to feel the gentle flow of air over my skin as I cut through the wind. Another one of Copenhagen’s appeals is its compact size; the the land is flat, and the city can be traversed by bicycle in only about 20 minutes. There are also plenty of well-maintained bicycle paths. During the morning rush hour in particular, you can see not only many children riding bicycles to school but also cargo bikes carrying children and dogs.
